A city with a rich variety of Architecture complimented with
one of the largest Architecture schools in the UK with over 100 years of
educational experience. To study at the MSA would be a privilege not only
because of its excellent reputation but because of what the school offers. I would love to study at the MSA because it is
a top institution that allows their students to utilise facilities from both
the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.
Furthermore I feel I can excel at the MSA with the help of the staff who have
practiced as Architects which is invaluable.
Visiting the tallest building in the world, for me, was a
great experience. You don’t really grasp
how colossal it actually is until you’ve really witnessed it. What I like most about
the Burj Khalifa is how it puts into perspective how tall it is, towering seamlessly
over the Dubai Skyline and it is even more beautiful at night.
One of my favourite buildings is the Gardens by the Bay in
Singapore. Not only do I like the nature inspired designs but the buildings in
the bay have a greater purpose to protect, display and nurture various unique
trees and plants. I believe a building that not only looks good but gives back is
great architecture and that leads me to The Trollstigen National Tourist Route
in Norway. This is a place I would like to experience personally. I really love how this area has been transformed
to improve everybody’s experience of the natural views that are truly
breathtaking. The viewing platform allows you to see the Norwegian Mountains
and waterfalls and what more the build effortlessly blends itself with its
surroundings without disrupting the landscape.
I really believe this course is suited to me and I will
excel in a career of Architecture. I’m very passionate about the course and
would cherish the opportunity to study at the MSA.
